I would say the burford road junction at the top of the village is more in need of a change. The slip road is way to small on a fast road.

Thanks to the hard work from the good people of carterton we have a bus again. Lucky we are on there direct route it still shows they are not thinking of villages still. But at the end of the day we have one back i just hope people in the village use it this time. I always saw an empty bus go by all the time.

You would have to be mad to sit on a bench that is falling apart with its back to a meter drop. Might be a great idea to have a bench somewhere maybe at the top by the trees looking towards the wollen weavers but where it is not very good. Unless you want to kill someone.

Then dont give me a chicken salad for 17 bucks with mouldy salad leafs.

People can hide from the inevitable and stick there heads in the sand but we will have to build houses. So why not, do it on our terms and to our standards before the choice is taken away from us like it has in many places.

Thank you richard the first nice thing you said to me. I know as practicle as a sledge hammer. Its defiantly correct though we did used to do things for the entire village and neighbouring villages. Just yesterday i saw a sign for alvestock festival and langfest festival both within 3 miles. Great names too lol.

Yes very good sadly we dont have what they are offering, garden center cafes multiple pubs butchers chinese ect ect. What would ours look like ?

When it comes to buses it would be lovely to have them. But sadly its a changing world not always for the better. Years ago women never drove and there wasnt many cars on the road. Now any teen coming out of school learns to drive straight away so the need for buses have made it not very profitible. As the new lot of driving people grow up there will be even less need for them. The amount of times i saw empty buses go through the village was a high. It was a complete waste of money. Also you can get anything delivered now shopping ect ect and even doctors are on phone and will be video chat appointments.

No doubt in it! the village should be asked. Probably the best location for a defib as its prity much half way and if one is in the church it isnt far from the one we already have.
