It can be isolating working at home all the time. I think there is room for a meeting for those who work in the village - maybe every other month to share ideas and communicate.

And now for the Big Discussion!
This is where everyone who lives and/or works in Filkins & Broughton Poggs can join in the discussion. Please choose the most relevant category, and post any idea or thought you have, and of course read (and comment freely on) everyone else's posts. Above all come back often.
Each category is looked after by a member of the CLP steering group, so watch for their posts and comments which will help us edge towards a successful Community Led Plan.
And, if you've signed up as 'unknown member', please change your profile so your name shows... It is so much more friendly to know who one is talking to!

Great idea. With more people working from home, a regular drop in to have a coffee and chat would be lovely. And could be developed to provide / organise shared services such as a printer / shredder etc
Various neighbours have mentioned this to me recently so well worth pursuing.
Internet cafe in village hall
Interesting idea, Karen... There used to be a fairly regular lunch for small business and those doings things at home. We used to meet in The Lamb, convened by the then vicar, Judith Mount. And that was in the days before Home Working, so I would guess even more need now for lunch and interaction.
